July 4th 2009 in Nashville

For some unknown reason, my uploads occur in backward chronological order, so use your imagination and begin at the end. Lastly, we made it back to our hotel room after the huge deluge of rain at Riverfront Park and Lucas worked on a chocolate caramel.

At the Family Fun Zone on Broadway, Lucas bravely played lots of big kid games. Even though this basketball game was tough, he gamely took it on.

On our first day of the weekend, we attended the July 4th Celebration at the Nashville Zoo. They had ring toss games, pie eating contests, an endless hotdog buffet and a carousel. You can see that Craig was a champion!

Of course, the first thing that Lucas raced to was the massive bouncie obstacle course. He was fearless and fast.

  1. Last year, on July 4th, Dick and I went to riverside in downtown Nashville, but all we did was walk around and listened to the music. We did not have anywhere near as much fun as you did.
